OF EASTPORT
ANCIENT PRACTICE MEETS MODERN MAGIC
When I was studying astrology at a summer course at Oxford University, my group was given a challenge: study a mystery chart and see if we could guess who it was. I had the best time with my new friends, analyzing the planetary positions and crafting a characterological profile of our mystery person.
When the answer was revealed, we discovered we'd gotten it exactly right—we had accurately identified Sir Anthony Hopkins. That moment dissolved any lingering doubts I had about astrology. This ancient practice actually works.
Where my story began
I found my first astrology book—Linda Goodman's Sun Signs—at a garage sale when I was just a kid. As I read it, I realized I wasn't learning something new. I was remembering.
Back in those pre-internet days, I became that friend who would cast charts by hand. I devoured every book I could find, studied with anyone who would teach me, and slowly built a practice that helped me understand myself and others in completely new ways.
The young, logical part of me couldn't quite grasp how planets and stars could influence our lives. That question drove me deeper—partly hoping to debunk it, partly hoping to prove it real. (Spoiler: I couldn't debunk it.)
WHY I DO THIS WORK
I've used astrology to navigate everything life has thrown at me. I've had two successful careers in very different fields, and astrology helped me understand the timing and energy of those transitions. During the inevitable hard times we all face, I look to the charts to see how long a difficult phase might last and what supports I can lean into.

Witches of Eastport is a playful nod to that magical 1990s movie and a little wink to anyone who's ever wondered if there's more to this universe than meets the eye. In my world, witches are wise women who share their intuitions, gifts, and healing with others.
